Two double bedrooms, with the option of sleeping a family of five.

Llwyn-on Barn and is a luxurious, yet natural place to stay.  Beautifully converted, this lovely barn is set on a Welsh farm-holding with fifty acres of pasture, woodland and river meadows in the Llanthony Valley.  The land is managed in an environmentally friendly way.  The owners live just behind, but the barn has a separate entrance is quite private.

Wild Wales HolidaysThe barn was used to shelter sheep and cattle, and has been beautifully converted to make a comfortable and calming place to stay.  Wild Wales HolidaysLocal oak has been used extensively, and traditional lime plaster, natural paints and a high specification give this Barn a wonderful feel.

There is a large sitting room and dining area, open to the barn roof, giving a feeling of peace and space.  There is a large oak dining table and comfortable sofas and chairs to relax in.  An efficient Clearview Woodburner warms your evenings, with underfloor heating making you comfortable.

The kitchen is open to the Sitting/Dining Room and has a charming traditional Welsh oak dresser.  It feels light and spacious.  It is well equipped to make it easy for you to whip up culinary delights.

The Stable bedroom was the traditional cobbled stable, and has been been carefully restored in a sympathetic way.  A pretty antique four poster brass bed makes this room very romantic. With good views from the window towards the Gospel Pass.

The luxury en-suite shower room also has a stunning view, and there is plenty of space to make you feel comfortable.

The Galleried bedroom has a wonderful view of the whole of the barn, and has antique furniture. A Luxury shower room is located downstairs.


Changeover days are Friday or Monday (just Friday at peak times) for week long bookings

Monday or Friday for Shortbreak Bookings

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome – there are free range chickens, sheep and ponies at Llwyn-on (surcharge of £20 per dog).

There is a freezer and washing machine (situated in outside building)

Bedlinen and towels are provided

Woodburner – logs supplied

Underfloor heating in living-room and Stable Bedroom

TV (free Sat), DVD player

Fridge, gas hob, electric oven, microwave in kitchen

Washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, oven gloves, cleaning stuff, bin bags, loo paper, washing powder provided

There is no telephone and no mobile reception, so you can enjoy the peace of the countryside (but you can use the owner’s telephone in case you need to!)
